  • Coincidence, author says, is a sign of God

This is so exciting to have an article like this come out just after the article I wrote! What a coincidence! There are some out there that would like to say that God doesn't care about them, but this is so false! As if LUCK has anything to do with anything! There is no such thing as luck as it itself has been proven to be illogical. I could not have MADE my dog come home any more than a person can MAKE someone come back to life!

Even more exciting, coincidentally are the two articles below...seemingly unrelated and completely independant of one another. EXCEPT! The first is a call to prayer from rabbis in the middle east. The second is an ancient copy of some Psalms from the Bible, which happened (coincidentally) to be open to the 83rd Psalm! Which happens to be one of the very chapters the rabbis suggested using to pray with! This chapter deals specifically with other nations trying to blot out the name of Israel.

  • I know, it seems silly to get excited about a couple of coincidences...But it is amazing how many I have stumbled upon more and more as I get to know God. It is also amazing to me how much NOT like Him I am (although I do believe I have grown!), and how His ways and the things He desires and wants for me are so contrary to what I always thought was good for me and always so much better! It is hard to grasp the love of a Father that loves you extravagantly, even if my earthly father does a good job (which you do Dad, don't worry!) God wants to give us much richer things (mainly spiritually, but also in the natural realm) than we could possibly imagine. Not that I come to Him just wanting things, but it is certainly desireable to become a better person, overcome the hard things in life, be able to walk through the other hard things, and keep your chin up while doing it! There are no victims in the Kingdom of God!!! You hear that people! Stop feeling sorry for yourself!! And quit focusing on yourself!! He is the only thing to focus on!! Other things in life that bombard us, all the worries, and busyness are meant to distract us from becoming closer friends and (dare I say) LOVER'S! He wants an intimate relationship with us.
God Bless you and good "luck" in your search for truth and meaning! He is the only meaning, and the only truth!!

1st Hand Account - Raised from the Dead! and another miracle!

The link below is to the website of a wonderful Jewish Christian named Sid Roth. This series of interviews is very encouraging, in particular the Thursday and Friday sessions. If you would like to hear someone explain their first hand account of how God raised them from the dead listen to these interviews! His death is verifiable and he has X-rays to prove the information.
There are many others out there with similar experiences, mostly in other countries besides the U.S. since Americans have as a nation been in unbelief concerning the supernatural realm. The people who have the experiences don't often make the evening news...although if they do there is often a convenient explanation. I once read of a woman who had died in the bathtub and was found dead after having taken too many sleeping pills. She later awoke in the morgue. The news article said her pulse must have been so faint they couldn't feel it. Generally someone trained to determine if a person is dead checks more than the pulse! What about breath, and heartbeat easily heard on the chest?
They aren't out to become millionaires either. If you go to this site, scroll down to the May 9-13, 2005 interviews (everything else here is awesome too though!).

I would also like to bring up a personal miracle of my own, not as amazing as God raising me from the dead or anything like that, but a circumstance where there is no possible way it was a coincedence and the only explanation is something or someONE intervened.

In 2001 I was living with my parents after moving back to Oregon before we were married. Carl lived about 30 miles away, with our two dogs Buff and Shama'. Shama' was my dog, but Buff had become very dear to my heart. He used to sit on my lap when he was smaller, at 60 lbs. and put his paws over my shoulder and hug me. He was so sweet.

The week of Thanksgiving came, and on Tuesday night Buff and Shama' ran off. They love to run as they are half Malamute. Shama' came home, Buff didn't. They are very big dogs, so we were stupidly thinking a harness was the best way to restrain them since we didn't have a fenced yard. Buff had broken free with a length of rope and leash attatched to him. We rightly assumed he had become entangled somewhere.

I prayed about it and believed the Lord had said "three days" so I just left it in God's hands. We still felt like we should search for him after he didn't come home all day Wednesday. Thursday Carl, and two or three of my cousins went all around on 4 wheelers and motorcycles looking everywhere on the 650 acre ranch for him. He could have been anywhere, as there is BLM land bordering the ranch. At one time my cousin thought he heard a bark and even stopped for a few minutes but nothing. Friday came and went, and I was up visiting Carl, hoping Buff would come home, believing that would be the day, if he did. I started looking at his puppy pictures and missing him and thinking about how much I love him. Then I picked up a book I was reading, "The Call" by Rick Joyner, and began reading again.

There is a time in the book where Rick is learning about how in the Garden of Eden Adam and Eve had given up their authority to reign over the earth and all of the animals to the serpent. Accepting Christ reinstated that authority and gives us power to overcome sin and death.

As I read this, faith rose up in me to pray against death for my dog Buff. This was right at midnight and I was planning on leaving soon. I prayed my prayer, and told Carl about it. Only 10 minutes later I thought I heard a bark! I ran to the door and opened it. It was freezing outside and Carl said "What are you doing? Close the door, he's not coming back!" I said, "I thought I heard a bark!". He again said something along the same lines, but then, out of the darkness I heard and saw him coming up to the porch!!

This could not be anything but a miracle. There were cougars and bears, (seen cougars myself, and Carl got a bear up there one year, and there was sign all over) and coyote's up at that ranch. He could have been killed or died of thirst. His fur was all rubbed off where the harness had been! But he had broken free or been broken free by someONE and saved from certain death!!!! Thank you Lord!! This shows so clearly, how God cares about every little thing in our lives! If He has taken the time to count every single hair on our head, how much more does He care about all of the things we love?!

He loves us all so much and does not want to see us suffer harm at all! Sometimes of course, we need to be tested and go through trials, and other times we may be in a place of rebellion, and still other times He just allows things we don't understand. But He still ends up getting the glory, and ALL things work together for good for those who love Him. He turns everything around so that something good can come of it!

    True Love

Here is a link to a most awesome lover of Jesus. I am sure many of you may find some of what you read here difficult to believe. Here in america we have found it much easier to not believe in the supernatural for some reason, but it is true, there are actual healings taking place daily by the power of the Holy Spirit.

  • New Blog Dedicated to Jesus!

Hello, and welcome to the new blog dedicated to know Jesus more! As your host, I would like to invite you to dialog concerning anything about Jesus, Father God, or the Holy Spirit!
This blog will hopefully be a way to discuss the Lord, minister to others, and spread the Gospel of the Kingdom! I do not wish to debate theology, but I will discuss it with anyone and everyone as kindly and gently as possible. Please feel free to bring up any type of question you might have, or just be the devil's advocate and stir up a lively conversation. Comments will not be allowed if they are hateful, spam, or confusing.

I love Jesus. I love His presence, and want more of it every day. I want to be hungrier for it today than I was yesterday. I want to know Him intimately. I want to share the good news about what He has done for me and everyone else in the world. I want to be a blessing to others, be used by God to do whatever He wants. I want to lay down my life for Him. This is what this blog is all about.
