This is so exciting to have an article like this come out just after the article I wrote! What a coincidence! There are some out there that would like to say that God doesn't care about them, but this is so false! As if LUCK has anything to do with anything! There is no such thing as luck as it itself has been proven to be illogical. I could not have MADE my dog come home any more than a person can MAKE someone come back to life!
Even more exciting, coincidentally are the two articles below...seemingly unrelated and completely independant of one another. EXCEPT! The first is a call to prayer from rabbis in the middle east. The second is an ancient copy of some Psalms from the Bible, which happened (coincidentally) to be open to the 83rd Psalm! Which happens to be one of the very chapters the rabbis suggested using to pray with! This chapter deals specifically with other nations trying to blot out the name of Israel.
I know, it seems silly to get excited about a couple of coincidences...But it is amazing how many I have stumbled upon more and more as I get to know God. It is also amazing to me how much NOT like Him I am (although I do believe I have grown!), and how His ways and the things He desires and wants for me are so contrary to what I always thought was good for me and always so much better! It is hard to grasp the love of a Father that loves you extravagantly, even if my earthly father does a good job (which you do Dad, don't worry!) God wants to give us much richer things (mainly spiritually, but also in the natural realm) than we could possibly imagine. Not that I come to Him just wanting things, but it is certainly desireable to become a better person, overcome the hard things in life, be able to walk through the other hard things, and keep your chin up while doing it! There are no victims in the Kingdom of God!!! You hear that people! Stop feeling sorry for yourself!! And quit focusing on yourself!! He is the only thing to focus on!! Other things in life that bombard us, all the worries, and busyness are meant to distract us from becoming closer friends and (dare I say) LOVER'S! He wants an intimate relationship with us.
