Why Christians evangelize and why the answer means you should take a good look at what they are saying!!
I evangelize for the sole purpose of saving others from the coming wrath.

8The Lord's message rang out from you not only in Macedonia and Achaia—your faith in God has become known everywhere. Therefore we do not need to say anything about it, 9for they themselves report what kind of reception you gave us. They tell how you turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God, 10and to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead—Jesus, who rescues us from the coming wrath.
I do not wish to see one person go to hell!!!
Think about all the other religions and examine whether they are concerned if people "convert" for their own sake or for the sake of making people submit to their rule?
Christians (true Christians, those who love God and men) are trying to warn people that the things they do wrong (EVERY thing) including lying, adultery, fornication, worshipping idols, EVERYTHING will be judged as sin and will automatically condemn them to HELL if they do not ask God to forgive them, repent (turn from their old ways, do a 180) and receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior !
Let's put it this way. I am on a hillside, and I see from a particular point of view.
You are coming along, but I can see from my position that the way you are going is dangerous and you are going to fall off of a cliff but I just stand there and watch or better yet walk away....your blood is on my hands.
But if I yell out and try to stop you, it is now your responsibility to go the other way. You have in effect "heard the good news" that "if you change your course you will not die."
There IS a hell, and the ruler of it absolutely DOES NOT want you to believe in it.
With no hell, there is no punishment. No justice. No responsibility. It is so convenient to believe it doesn't exist. It seems logical, and it allows a person to live as they wish.
But how convenient it will be on the day of Judgement! Will you keep walking off the cliff? Or at least take a moment to realize someone else might see something you don't and is trying to save you?!
Take a good look around and MAKE SURE you KNOW they are not lying, crazy, or vengeful before you continue!! Or go ahead and walk off the cliff, ignoring the warnings if you want to...it is your choice!
After all, who am I to yell out to you to go another way? I am just another person on the hill, and you don't have any PROOF that I know what I am talking about. Of course you won't think this when you fall off!
Take a good look at Jesus and decide for yourself if He is who He says He is.

What does God say?
Genesis 17:13
He that is born in thy house, and he that is bought with thy money, must needs be circumcised: and my covenant shall be in your flesh for an everlasting covenant.
Galatians 5:2
Behold, I Paul, say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing.
So, which is it?
"Christians...are trying to warn people that the things they do wrong...will...condemn them to HELL if they do not ask God to forgive them...and receive Jesus..."
So do you like that lady who runs the godhatesfags.com site? Do you think she's really filled with Christ love? Would you call her a "true Christian"? (By the way, I would.)
Also, do you realize that what you're saying in your post is that it's okay to do all of that "bad" stuff as long as you ask Jesus's forgiveness for it later. That doesn't seem like much of a call for any sort of "responsibility," don't you think?
I mean, if God has given us a propensity to sin by our very nature and has declared us guilty via original sin, then why not fornicate and do all the fun stuff, then simply ask forgiveness afterwards. Jesus will forgive the sinners, right? And he'll forgive us again if we mess up later on (because he forgives sinners, which we all are), right? Or do we only get one chance to ask forgiveness? If only one chance, then where does it say that in the Bible?
The rest of your argument isn't "argument" at all. It's a bunch of arrogant bald assertions and presuppositions...
I am on a really high hill, and I can see that you're stuck in a ditch and digging yourself deeper (though for some reason you call it a "hill"). I don't have any proof that the flying spaghetti monster exists, but you're going to be sorry on that day when he strikes you with his noodly appendage!
Your refusal to accept the TRUTH of the FSM is now your responsibility, since I've told you his awesome news - and I only did it because I'm filled with parmesan cheese love for you, not for any selfish reasons.
...see what I mean? Why is your diatribe any less arrogant than mine?
