This is for all to read.
The covenant of circumcision isn't gone. But it is superceded by a greater covenant.
Colossians 2
Ephesians 2
Galatians 5
Romans 15:7-9
Romans 3
Romans 2
Acts 15
Acts 10:44-48
Acts 7
I will not visit the inflamatory sounding site from the comments, although maybe she is a so called "Christian", I don't know.
God is Holy, God is just. God is to be feared. But He is also love. He DOES love EVERYONE. But He cannot be near sin. And homosexuality is sin, just like fornication and adultery.
I think God's definition of whether a person is a "true Christian" is the only one that counts. you might think she is a Christian because maybe someone who has such a site is an easy target to blame all Christians for being hateful. I don't know and don't care.
you might think I am arrogant. that is fine. But I am right, and that is what matters.
We have a lot of responsibility to live a right life. Most American churches are teaching the very opposite of this though. But our ability to live a right life, and to walk without the guilt from screwing up only comes from Jesus' blood.
Grace isn't an excuse to sin. It gives me the ability not to sin and to enter the presence of God boldly.
it is NOT ok to do the bad stuff. ever. but as a human with a fallen nature, we have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.
There is nothing we can do personally to fix our sins. it is impossible except for the blood of Jesus. His sacrifice fixes us and changes us to a new creation that is no longer a sinner. I am righteous. only by the blood of Jesus. but now, I am in right standing with God. If you aren't, that is your choice, and it may sound arrogant, but it is just confident.
God didn't give us a propensity to sin, we did. by choosing to eat the apple. and sooner or later someone would have eaten it.
we handed the reign over to satan at that point.
then we all automatically acquired a fallen nature.
lots of people think they can get away with sinning and then later get forgiven. that is not quite how it works.
yeah, we may get forgiven if we are truly repentant and realize our folly before it is too late.
but tonight in your sleep may be too late. tomorrow on the way to work or school or church or walking in the park someone or something may kill you. a car wreck, a heart attack, a random bullet, or a gang shoot out.
Jesus already has forgiven the sinners. while we were still sinners Christ died for us. all of us are forgiven. it is our choice to receive it or not. i chose to receive it.
every day i repent of something and ask for forgiveness. but all of my sins are forgiven. past present and future. every one. I am forgiven. the reason i ask for forgiveness is for the sole purpose of wiping my own slate clean on my heart, reaffirming the power of the Blood in my life, offering to the Lord the things I cannot bear, and admiting to Him that He alone is able.
but if I die, right after saying something mean, or lying or swearing I am still forgiven, and I am still going to Heaven.
i am not here to proclaim my humility. i desire it, but i really don't think i am very humble. i try, that is all i can say.
There is scripture to back up everything here.

"you might think I am arrogant. that is fine. But I am right, and that is what matters."
The problem is that the only evidence you have for declaring yourself "right" is a poorly written, internally inconsistent* book from a few thousand years ago.
Since that's all you've got to work with, I think I'm justified in calling you arrogant.
I am righteous.
Really?
Romans 3:10
as it is written, "THERE IS NONE RIGHTEOUS, NOT EVEN ONE..."
*Regarding the inconsistencies, let me ask you these questions:
Does every word of God prove true?
Who were the first visitors to Jesus's tomb and when did they arrive?
Where did the disciples first see the risen Jesus?
How many times did the disciples see the risen Jesus?
Does God ever change his mind?
Either you don't understand or just failed to read further to Romans 5:19 "For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous" I have been made righteous and it isn't anything I did.
I am curious if you really want answers to these questions?
Are they honest questions, or do you have 50 more waiting to be answered?
I cannot answer every question and have any of them be real to you. Only the Holy Spirit can do that. I will do my best, but not at the expense of my relationship with the Lord, my family, or my business.
If you really want to know if these "inconsistencies" can be reconciled, the best way to go about this is to ask the Lord for wisdom. He freely gives it, and He can show you how these things actually all work together to give a fuller picture.
Just like a person standing at a fence watching a parade going by through a knot-hole, you can only see a part of the picture. This is the same thing for the Bible, and when you find a difficult area, passages, a verse, the only way to understand (with your heart is most important) is for the Lord to show you. If you only know things with your head you will never get it.
So in a quick attempt to answer your questions..
1. there are words of God that prove true absolutely such as when He spoke creation into exisence, and then there are things He has decreed, which always come to pass, but they may change when or how they come to pass depending on who is willing and available. So yes, but it may look way different, almost always does than what we are expecting.
I will finish the rest of this at a later time.

here is a good site to start digging
concerning whether God every changes His mind. yes He does there are a few times when He has done this. the story of Jonah and Ninevah is a good example, Moses got Him to change His mind, as well as one woman asking for healing for her child if I remember right...I can find all of this, but www.BibleGateway.com is a great place to find all the scriptures you want.
also, there are many books out there, (my Thompson's Chain Reference Bible NIV, Spirit Filled Life NKJV, Halley's Bible Handbook) are all great books to study with that clarify a lot of things.
the www.ChristianAnswers.net site is a great one for these type of questions.
How do you reconcile Jesus's promise to answer the prayer's of Christians with, for example, the fact that there are Christian amputees and murder victims who knew they were about to be killed?
not knowing which particular promise you refer to, Jesus did clearly promise He would be with us always.
He also promised trials, that we would be hated, that we would suffer persecution, or difficulties facing us from every angle.
He will fix every single problem for us in the physical realm. Most of the promises made to us, are in the spiritual realm, (which supercedes the natural realm) but this doesn't mean that every time we are going to have things go our way.
I have asked God to let me see Him face to face, but He hasn't done it yet. If He did do it it would probably kill me because I am not ready.
Does this mean He is ignoring me? Does it mean He doesn't care? No.
He isn't a genie in a bottle. He knows what is best for us, and we can beg and plead for lots of things even good things, and He still won't do it. Because He knows the end from the beginning. He knows things we couldn't possibly know, things like that if we had the healing the way we expect it, or He saved us from death the way we wanted, His message of Love and Forgiveness and Eternal Life wouldn't be spread the way He intends.
If this life were all there was, then worrying about whether we die, or have all of our limbs would be really important. But those things are temporary and short-lived.
